Hi Steve, Mark, David et al.,

Firstly, thanks for making the TandyForum available.
I hope it becomes a worthwhile repository of Coco knowledge.

Bit about me:
Been into Electronics / CB/ Ham Radio since the mid-70's, then bought a TRS-80 Model-1 in 1978 to see what "all the fuss" with computers was about.
From there went to an Apple //, then Amiga.

These days I'm mainly interested in emulating retro machines in FPGA.
This led to an interest in the Coco through Gary's coco3fpga project, which I have ported to a couple of other boards apart from the DE1.

I'm a relative newcomer to the Coco, only getting my first "real" one around 2009.
Now have a few "2"''s and several "3"'s (both a PAL and NTSC).

All the best,
Leslie

P.S. Always try and catch your cocotalk program every weekend!

Hi guys,

Found this forum through the TRS-80/Color Computer Facebook group. I am a member of a number of vintage computing communities and am always willing to check out new ones.

I am a vintage computer collector with systems from Apple to Zenith and have a some Tandy Color Computers as part of the collection. I am more of a content consumer as I learn about these systems and attempt to contribute as I can. I was not an early CoCo user but am amazed how this community continues to thrive and transform. You are a great group and should be proud of the accomplishments that continue to surface.

Glad it's around and I particularly appreciate the CoCo Crew podcast and CoCoTalk.

Keep up the great work.
Santo

Hello Leslie!!!

Glad you found us, I am fairly new to the CoCo myself, only 5 years, but this is a super friendly group and lots of Support for older Hardware and Software and newer Hardware and Software..

Thanks for listening to CoCoTALK! Live.. It's almost like a Weekly User Group meeting.. Even with all the CoCo research and Hardware and Software I have acquired, having Long Time CoCoNuts to ask questions of is "really a thrill"..

MarkO

Hello Santo!!!

Glad to have you here..

This Community just seems to keep "making new stuff" and supporting the people and "classic" Hardware and Software, a very friendly "bunch of folks"..
